Hello, I am Glenda M, a compassionate and experienced home carer with a deep passion for supporting individuals in need. With a wealth of experience in providing care for clients with Mild Cognitive Impairment, Parkinson's Disease, and other conditions, I offer a range of care types including live-in, hourly, and overnight care. My skills encompass a variety of tasks including bathing, toileting, assistance with dressing, catheter care, and providing companionship.
Despite facing challenges such as anxiety and depression in some of my clients, my caring nature, friendliness, and helpfulness allow me to create a supportive and understanding environment for those under my care. With the ability to drive, I ensure clients can attend appointments and outings comfortably. While I do not have a car of my own, my commitment to helping people live independent lives remains unwavering.
Outside of my caregiving duties, I enjoy engaging in activities such as walking, cooking, baking, puzzles, socializing, and reading. Through my hobbies, I am able to strike a balance in life and recharge, allowing me to continue providing the best possible care to those who rely on me. My ultimate motivation for being a carer lies in my desire to empower individuals and help them maintain a sense of independence and dignity in their daily lives.
